Migration to PHP 5: By February 5, 2008 Absolut Engine will only accept PHP 5.2+ features into the codebase and will no longer provide support for lesser PHP versions.
Absolut Egnine v1.73 is fully compatible with PHP v5+. Many webhosting companies now fully support PHP 5, so just ask you webhoster to migrate to PHP 5. You can also choose to stay with PHP 4 and run v1.73 or lesser without a problem. Futuer versions will be no longer tested on PHP 4!
Note: May work only partially under PHP 5, PHP 4 (any version) is recommended.
Modules: Download modules - including: discussions & comments, directory (categories), eventcalendar, flickr, google maps (API) + editor, messaging, nowplaying, rssfeed, rssimport, weather (METAR)...
DokuWiki module: Download DokuWiki bridging module - for use with DokuWiki - great and easy-to-use PHP wiki system. DokuWiki module serves as a bridging module that brings authetication model of AE into DokuWiki. For use with dokuwiki-2006-11-06 version. Other versions' code could differ. Copy dokuwiki into admin/modules/wiki and copy dokuwiki bridging module over the files.
